And the fake RPG pet project continues! Now I'm imagining what the character selection/status page would look like if you were trying to form a party. WARNING: THIS IS ALL FAKE AND IN MY HEAD. * v * Technically, you wouldn't really be able to party with mirage mage since she's confined to the water... but roll with it!
Character Portrait: what you see when you're actually speaking to a character
Nameplate: displays either a player chosen or pre-determined name
Dialog box: a quick line that sort of acts as a catchphrase? idk.
Stats box: quick overview of where the mage's strengths and weakness lie. Ironically, mirage mage is rather weak in the elements, even though she is a mermaid. Lolol
Heart Counter: Omg! You can romance NPC mages and invite them to your party! You need to complete the heart counter once for all colors in order to advance to the next color. Each color allows you to do certain activities with said character, and etc. Gray = indifference, blue = friendship, red = romance, gold = your love transcends space and time!
Level - Magic Area: Uh... idk how mirage mage would earn experience points, but there's levels! And also indicates which school of magic she currently studies.
Sprite: I'm lazy and had empty space. So I stuck the sprite on there at 50% size.
The vague premise of the game is some strange mix of Fantasy Life, Fire Emblem, Persona, and Harry Potter, lololol. You create your own character who embarks upon the life of a mage, choosing specialties like you would in Fantasy life, complete missions or quests like in Fire Emblem, and go to Mage School like Harry Potter! 0: And along the way you can pursue romance, rivalry and battle great evil.
